This was always going to be a wedding with a difference. Unlike the orthodox fare of a wedding followed by a reception, our wedding was to be rather more complex. There were good reasons for this-


• the core of the wedding would be on the Isle of Man to remember Richard’s father
• there would be celebrations both on the Isle of Man and in Sussex
• we could only arrange the Sussex evening celebration for a Friday night
• we would need to arrange a Saturday party for those unable to make Friday

Somehow, we managed to pull this off with brilliant weather at every stage!
