Safely down from Snaefell, the wedding party returned to the Mount Murray Hotel for a well earned rest and to make ready for the evening reception. The piper’s last duty was to pipe the bride and groom into the hotel. Anyone who was not wide awake beforehand certainly was after the piper had finished!
